Made By Mine started with something very simple, being a mom.
I have three children: one boy and two girls. And like most parents, I have watched their little personalities come to life through their drawings.
With my eldest, my son, I tried my best to keep every special picture he brought home.
I put them into “safe” places, special boxes that somehow always ended up buried underneath everything else. I took photos of his drawings and saved them on my phone, promising myself that one day I would print them and put them into an album.
Of course, life got busy.
I even stuck his artwork on the fridge until there was no space left. And now the same thing is happening with my girls.
Their drawings keep coming home. Colourful, creative and completely unique to them. But over time, I started noticing what happens to those little masterpieces. Some fade. Some get torn by accident. Some disappear into a forgotten box. And sometimes, no matter how hard you look, you simply can’t find that one special drawing anywhere.
That made me sad.
Because these aren’t just drawings. They are a little pieces of childhood.
I wanted a way to keep those memories safe. To turn the drawings that would otherwise end up on the fridge, in a drawer or inside a forgotten box into something we could actually use, treasure and keep for years to come.
And that is how Made By Mine was born.
